This year reminded us of one girl's power to impact others....
After Lata was rescued, she helped Freedom Firm rescue a 6 year old girl who was being groomed for prostitution. Kanchan (right) was rescued at the age of 14, and now she dreams of being a police officer so she can protect other girls. Simi bravely testified against her traffickers and now they will remain behind bars for 10 years. Her courage inspired the other survivors living in her shelter home.
Since the beginning of 2023, your partnership has brought rescue to 89 victims. This is more than double the number of rescues from last year, but many girls are still waiting to be rescued.
